Peter Madden

This is an excellent biography of Smith Wigglesworth, describing his upbringing in rural North Yorkshire, his early attempts at ministry. His marriage with Polly Wigglesworth, one of the early Salvation Army 'Hallelujah Lasses', and the enormous influence she had on him. Madden expands on his ministry after he was baptised in the Holy Spirit, until his death in 1947. It is a challenging example of what God can do through one fully yielded and faithful man.
